Our web design clients have often asked us to develop online brand identities and several expanded this scope of work to include a complete business branding package. Although still a smaller workstream than our interactive division, we consciously started develop our branding and graphic design work outside of online media in 2014.
Brand development work starts with a good understanding of the business, business history, culture, mission and markets. We work with business owners and management to develop a sense of personality around the brand and from this branding can start.
We typically produce two or three individual mood boards; incorporating several different ideas for discussion before starting on the branding concepts. We present initial sketched concepts, and at this point, gather input from clients before creating the digital brand identity files.
